The default "Explode" option will give you an "Open EBook" source - a folder of HTML files, images, and an ".opf" file which stitches it all together. You should use this option if you want to make any changes to the book.

The "downconvert" option will give you a DRM-free LIT file. Use this if you don't want to edit the book before converting it.
