I would have to try it to find out and that would still not determine if the service(s) would give you the results that you want.

I followed one link and read , been around since 1999, looks for changed text on the page.

I doubt that the Amazon prime reading catalogue page even keeps its url unchanged, rather it assembles a dynamic session on the fly. And for sure it will move the books around as dictated by its popularity rules. So i rate the chances of that 20 year old tracker technology working as close to zero. I will pass, thanks
It needs human intelligence to work out if a set of 20 books on the page are the same 20 as before, reordered, or if some have rotated out of the catalogue

You read part of one, did not bother to try it, and just assumed it would not do what you wanted.

So it seems you really aren't all that interested in tracking the book offer changes, you just want a place to vent about something that not even you care about.

Not true.
I have some knowledge of how large and small web sites operate and I assert that that simple page comparison technology will not work with Amazon catalogues.
Those amazon pages are database generated on the fly. they are not static simple text and image places like an amateur hobbyist makes. Just click on show source so see what actually goes on. the images and descriptions are pulled from back end sources. You are not dealing with simple hrml paragraph and img tags
Basically what I would like to know is how often amazon will be rotating their curated offers. Figuring that out by manually tracking some subset of the catalogue is very much a last resort

I suspect that the answer is not very often. Prime Reading is meant to give a taste of Kindle Unlimited, a tease to get you to sign up for the full service.

I think you are right. There will always be just one Harry Potter on the front page.
Also, it seeems that they include only one book of any given series, then you need KU, or to individually buy the next ones

But I found a few that look readable, will see how it goes. The limit is 10 borrowed at once, same as KU.

I wonder if they will kill off the one per month kindle owners prime lending service, which seems superfluous now.
