The GR member who created the Overdrive add-on for Chrome is working on one for Firefox. Not sure when it will be available though.

I would just use Chrome for this purpose only. You don't have to make it your default browser, or login to a gmail account to sync bookmarks and share your entire browsing behavior with Google etc.

Does not matter if you login or not Google still adds third-party tracking and advertising cookies to a computer.

Everyone does that, I would be interested to learn what is better about Firefox in that respect. Whose search engine do you use?

Firefox does not have built in third-party trackers that Chrome does. As for a search engine I use DuckDuckGo.

Yes. You can add any search URL for any store or searchable database as a button just like the Amazon one. There are several threads in Feedback with info, but if you know how to search your Overdrive site, you can just add it if you follow these instructions. You probably want to do a title search, but no reason you can't add all of them.

There are two dropdown buttons next to each other on each book page, one defaults to Amazon or says "Online Stores" (sometimes there are three, and the Amazon one is broken out on it's own), the other I've had customized for so long I don't remember what it defaults to, but you can move the links around between them as you like, so I have stores on one, and Google/My Library/Worldcat/etc lookups under the other.

It's a little unintuitive, since it's all one list on that page, but multiple buttons on the book pages, but you'll figure it out.

There is also a tampermonkey script that will add another button, but it doesn't work on all browsers.

If you can do it, you could write a program in Greasemonkey to do this Goodreads/Overdrive integration.

lol the reason I joined this forum was because of Calibre. The plugin for Overdrive and Goodreads does not help me much. I want something that works when I am on my phone or Kindle also.

If I know how to write code I would do it. Sadly it would be easier for me to larn Greek than write something in code. But maybe someone in the GreaseMonkey library forum has something written. Thanks I will search there.

You won't get something to work on your phone or Kindle. To do that, what you want would have to be built into GR and/or OD. It's not there and it won't be there. The best you can hope for is a solution for Firefox desktop.

Suit yourself, but FYI: when logged into Worldcat, you can see whether or not specific books/formats are available in the libraries you have chosen as favorites.
