How much does the average author get laid?

that's a good point actually. few things are sexier than a well-developped intellect and literate sense of humour.

well, not all readers are writers, of course, but i think i can say that all (good) writers are also readers, so i suppose the two are linked. but i think being a writer means that you should be able to express yourself well so the intellect and humour are a bit more evident than might be true of someone who is only a reader.
