Oh crap, those bastard, I bought a PW for manga reading 1 month ago, because of the discount they did, and now they release this model, exactly what I needed....
I'm pretty sure they did the discount on purpose...

Maybe

Almost a thousand on my Voyage, no problems.

I really don't need 32GB on a Kindle reader, but I like the idea.
I don't need the space either but that doesn't mean I wouldn't grab the opportunity to buy a PW with 32GB storage

If they were to release a Voyage with 32gb (or even 8 or 16gb) I would order straight away.

The Kindle Developers Forum has a thread on how to install the 32GB eMMC for the hard-core, DIY, people.

In fact, it has been posted for quite some time now (I didn't look up the date for this post).

What model?
What firmware version?

Amazon fixed the indexer problems a long time ago.

Both "it already does" -

LibrarianSync (a KDF add-in) already builds collections from the hierarchical directories in /documents for the built-in reader.

KOreader already recognizes hierarchical directories.

The "Disable Indexing" and "Pause Indexing" has been in the firmware for a very long time now.
If you want a "button" to control it, ask on the KDF.

I confess, I do not keep up with the latest developments.
Last time I was trying to do something was when I owned a new PaperWhite 1.
I had every possible hack and tweak installed and I was still unhappy.

None of those features work "out of box" for a casual, non-geek user.

So, did you get it, and what do you think of it?
