Dictionary

Hi LucyOne,
I tried with the pre-installed dictionaries on the PB. and different configurations, but I Still get the "No dictionaries were installed".

However the preinstalled Webster 1913 is quite poor in words.

Would you be willing to recommend a source for English dictionaries online?

Thanks,
B

Dictionaries

Hi,

Thanks a lot.

On my part I found a guide to convert some StarDict dictionaries to XDXF and then to DIC format.
http://zderadicka.eu/convert-diction...-ebook-reader/

I wish that the Coolreader logic of searching the dictionaries, so it would look up the word without the extensions (-ing, -ly, etc.)
The Pocketbook is so much better with CoolReader even this way.

Have fun
