Need a stylus for my iPad Air - Page 2

Thank you both. I just ordered one from their website (even with shipping it was $6+ less than Best Buy, which was $10 less than Amazon). There's another pen on the Adonit site, the Adonit Pixel, which they describe as their best stylus for iPads. In addition to what the Dash offers, it has palm rejection, is pressure-sensitive, and has shortcut buttons. It also has a price tag of $79.99. Since I already own two writing gloves, so the palm rejection would be an unnecessary luxury, and I have no read need for touch sensitivity (although it would be nice) I went with the Dash ($39.99 + $3.35 S&H). The Best Buy price was $49.99 (free shipping), and Amazon Prime wanted a whopping $59.99.

OOOOh I havent seen the Pixel. Must look. Still wanting the perfect stylus. If I had realised you were that close to ordering I would have had a bit of a hurryup on the little shot I took of the Dash next to a fine point ballpoint. I'll drop it in here anyway

Sweet. The Pixel also lists a 1.9mm tip, so for my purposes I suspect the Jot Dash will be just as good as the Pixel. Those extras are nice, though.

No, I haven't tried the FiftyThree pencil. And maybe I shouldn't have offered my opinion, because it's been some time (years) since I tried anything that wasn't a Wacom. I am extremely skeptical of Bluetooth styluses (except for the Apple Pencil which is just perfect, but then support is built into the OS), and the only one I tried (by Wacom) was simply a disaster. But again, I haven't tried the latest model of anything.
