If you can wait until sometime in August, Kobo may be bringing out two new Readers. ne is 6" and the other is 7.8". Kobo works quite will with ePub.

I just did the Win 10 upgrade a couple of weeks ago. I can connect my T2, T3 and 900 Sonys. Just haven't tried the others yet. The 900 is the only one that gave me issues, the computer said it wasn't recognized but when I clicked continue, Calibre found it anyway and I was able to put books on it.

I'd make sure I have all the updates available for Win 10 and for Calibre and try a different USB cord if you haven't already.

I would suggest that you go into the windows device manger and roll back your Sony device driver first if that does not work then the usb driver.

On the Windows 10, is it the preview release?
That is the one giving people problems.

If it's connection okay to Windows itself (ie: you can see it in Explorer and copy files that way or it works okay with the Sony Reader Library software) then I'd think there is hope it can eventually be gotten working in Calibre as well.
Thanks. Well I won't do that reset because I can at least read the books on the Sony. No I can't see it in Explorer. It comes up as Drive I:\ but then asks met to put a disk in the G:\ drive, so it looks like it has died on me.

I'm pretty sure the Sony just uses the Windows USBMS driver. Unless that has been updated recently, there isn't anything to roll back. But, you could try USBDEview to remove the device, then reboot and let Windows find the device again. That has worked to get some Kobo devices going again.

According to son'ys official website it is compatible with windows 10:

http://sony-eur-eu-en-web--eur.custh...15QldXbQ%3D%3D

There must be a problem with something else, perhaps try contacting sony directly or posting on sonys community forum,a link is in that link.

I don't think its just the preview release. I've just upgraded my brand new PC (1 week old) to Windows 10. When I connected my Pocketbook Touch Lux 2 to the PC this evening while it recognised the reader it didn't recognise the microSD card I have installed! I had to remove the card from the reader to add books to it.

On the other hand it did recognise the microSD card in my Sony T3.

I have the same problem with the Pocketbook Touch Lux 3. Calibre recognizes the device but not the sd card. If I connect the reader before opening calibre and wait a few minutes before opening calibre then it reads the card. It does read the sd card if it's in my PRS T-1
