Unfortunately I don't have access to my old computer. I have my Library backed up in onedrive and it is from there that I am having difficulty moving it into Calibre.

I have since discovered that I have it on a memory stick and able to restore it without any problems. I appear to have lost any notes I had made about books read. I guess I will have to just live with that.

Is this in the selection dialog for Switch/Create Library?

Because all you need to do is select the Calibre Library folder and click Open. Don't right-click or enter the author subfolders at all -- that is going too far and has nothing to do with what you want.

Thanks to you ALL for your help.

I now have it up a running ok. I have lost my meta data and a record of those books that I have read, but at least I am almost back to where I was before I upgraded to Win10. Unfortunately I had to have a fresh install of Win10 as my HDD failed in Win7.
