In addition to dictionaries, there is the Translate feature, which can translate entire phrases and paragraphs (when online). More languages are supported in arbitrary combinations. While the translation quality is variable, it is an often useful alternative to looking words up individually.

Hi everyone!
I just wanted to thank everyone for answering my question. I finallåt bought today the kindle Paperwhite. I had a chat session with the amazon customer service and had the special offers feature unsubcribed as the special offers do mot work outside the USA. I downloaded the dictionaries too. I havent read anything on it yet however I am happy. Thanks for all the help. |
