Same price. And for a bit, Best Buy had a faster shipping date. Some people prefer brick and mortar because it makes returns easier.

Makes sense. That's basically what Best Buy is turning into -- a flea market, where vendors lease space. I guess Amazon figured it wasn't worth the price of the premium location, since they really don't have any eInk competition in the United States any more. It wasn't that long ago when Best Buy sold Kindle, Nook, Sony and Kobo devices side by side.

At my local BB yesterday. They still had the Amazon Display up. Same old stuff. No Voyage No Oasis on the display.

Same here, I wonder if less people are coming into stores to look at Kindles, and just ordering them online instead ? I like to see them in person before ordering, but maybe I'm in the minority now. That may also account for others saying that their stores have few working kindles to try.

Last time that I was in a Best buy we were looking at appliances. They had A HUGE Samsung multimedia display plus a sales guy trained especially on the Samsung product line. Draw your own conclusions.
