Right, that's the holding place for me, too - but only after I download them using my Kindle app on my computer.

I wouldn't have thought to check, but I had those 3 emails from Amazon telling me that they had been sent to me.

I'm using a MacPro, by the way, if that makes any difference.

It's near the top, below the book blurb section and the section that tells book length/etc. The "Learn More" just goes to the link DreamWriter provided.

That's where I first saw the promo, too. It's still there.

Sorry that so many of you have been unable to get the free e-books. I didn't have any difficulty buying them from the link in my OP right before I started this thread. I wasn't given the opportunity to select which device to send them to at the time of purchase, but they were all available in my cloud library (All Items) in Kindle for Android app, Fire HD6, and Paperwhite.

It is also prominent on the Kindle Ebooks page (first of four or five on the scroller ad there). As well as the email that was sent out and the mention on the book pages.

Still no sign of the books for me, so I'll have to suffer thru chat with support.

Do you have "Kindle for PC"? I use it for Kindle downloads from Amazon and it is usually problem free. After books are on my PC, I add them to calibre for device flexibility.

Amazon makes it easy with the "Manage Your Content and Devices" menu.

For those of us the promo messed up on, the books simply aren't in our accounts, but Amazon thinks they are. They're basically Schrödinger's e-books at this point. So Kindle for PC doesn't help either for us, chat's the only option. (Or give up, that's an option too. )
