Seems a bit ridiculous that kindlegen can't generate it though.

I appreciate the info, I moved them all to the cloud and they appeared on all my devices. I tested the sync and it worked! This is great!! As stated, all books converted and purchased directly from Kindle show in the All.

I don't suppose there is a way to change the designation label of personal documents to books, is there?
