Yep, I get it now. Same old PW in white. I wasn't clear on it being just a color change. Nah, I wouldn't bother with it. It does look so sleek in white but I don't know. Not tempting enough. I'd have to buy a new case for it, with a white border, because I wouldn't like the black around the white bezel either.

No I don't like the white bezel at all, as simplyparticular mentions above, it just emphasises how grey the eink screen is. I have a blue Sony 350 and a white Kobo Mini and the screen on the Kobo looks darker.

Doesn't look like it'll be available in the US anyway. They have the white basic kindle as well and you said it's from before. They don't sell it in the US either.

I like my white Nooks and Sony T1. I would consider a Kindle in white.

I generally don't like my devices in white. I'll only go white when there's absolutely no other choice (which is why my Galaxy Note 8 is in white: no other colours available). I prefer black (or red).

I think white bevel just makes more apparent any gray splotchiness / color hues issues you may have.
