Select AZW3 (should be your only choice): Explode Look in the styles folder Open it with Notepad or similar TEXT editor (NOT Word or similar. Never save if you do) It should look like a typical CSS (I found one that was mostly @stuff, the real styles were all inline ![]() Select All, the paste that into the box at W3c That will TELL you which lines have issues (w3c will gripe about thing like text-justify: trim (those are sort of warnings) You want to worry about PARSE and Syntax errors Then you need to (fix) edit the original CSS and click Rebuild Book : ![]() |

@tkil44, you are right, that file isn't that big.
Only one thought. He is using calibre. calibre have an editor for azw3 and epub. That's for the first step all he need for doing the job. Why forcing him to use additional tools, unpacking, editing files repacking it back when he hasn't the knowledge to understand the meaning of messages around css, file structures within ebooks and so on? Isn't it better using the calibre editor, checking the ebook, copy the results to clipboard (right click) and paste the results here for further help? All needed information are are shown in the details of the internal report (see attachment). An other and maybe much better way is to install and use plugin ScrambleEbook and post the scrambled book here and we all can do a own check and tell him how to go forward. ![]() |
