My older 902 uses the SVOX TTS system, while the Touch Lux and Inkpad use Ivona. The improvement in TTS has been steady over the years. The voice is fine on the 902, but the time to update the screen is slow, so there is a long break between each sentence as the marks showing the position of the reading are changed. The break for updating the screen is much shorter on the Touch Lux, but it is still noticeable. The break is very short on the Inkpad, and it provides the best experience of all the three devices. However, the Inkpad is an 8" reader rather than a 6" reader, so it is not what the OP is asking for. I guess the OP would have to go for an Ultra if they wanted a PocketBook device.
