That is why I also used that type of interface in my alternative check spelling procedure in my Word add-in. At the moment I do use the Word spelling engine, but that might change later...

I prefer Kovid's approach - puts the onus on me to make the correct choice.
Sometimes the hyphens are there for a reason, such as to indicate stuttering speech. Also some hyphenated compounds will mean something quite different if they're joined - can't think of one off hand, but I know them when I see them ![]() BR |
