Anyone know how common ereaders are used by military people. I see them in base exchanges and read that USN had developed their own ereader for submariners. I met some airmen at best buy soon after purchasing my Kobo Mini that would have bought one if it was available. When I was in the military bases and ships maintain small libraries and everyone trades paperback books. So do they now use more tablets or ereaders?

Can you type a little bigger Sonny? You know older eyes and all that.
Larger fonts and uhm the fact is the 50-60 range generally have more disposable income.

I'm not a fan of Apple's walled garden, and own no Apple products, but I know many young people only want Apple products.
I will give Apple credit for trying to protect user privacy, I suspect they will lose the battle in the end, but I give them credit for trying.

No idea how common they are, but they do have their own OverDrive libraries...
Army | Air Force | Navy (includes Marine Corps), the Air Force one has a much smaller number of titles than the Army or Navy.

Yes, currently there is a trend to just read tidbits, it must be quick, fast and short to keep attention.
Further, the involved e-reader providers are also not always too dependable like closing/changing services all the time.
