Thanks for this info. I stopped using mobi and started using azw3 again. I solved my problems with bad formated epub's (resulting in a not working font selection on the kindle if I converted to azw3) by inserting a publisher font. Somehow this solves the font problem in the whole azw3 file, so I can enjoy FONT_RAMP again with the standard amazon fonts (which are fine for me). Only "problem" is it increased the size of the files due to the imported publisher font, but I have only a few books on my Kindle at the moment, so that's fine.

If your device was jailbroken you could use the font hack.

I really don't like the new look. So if I get rid of the cluttered Home screen my only other option is to see what used to be called Cloud? The list of every single book I have with only a little check mark next to them to show if they're on my device? WHY?? Why did they do this? Haven't they ever heard "If it ain't broke, don't 'fix' it?

No, you can turn off the new home screen, and change the view on the library page from "All" to "Downloaded". That will show you what's on your device only.

I just joined the Voyage club this week, and before I had time to download my first book, the device updated. Now here's my question: I did as copyrite suggested and turned my home screen off, but now I can't see the PD book I just sideloaded. Make sure the middle drop down is set to all items.

Setting the selectors to "Downloaded" and "All Items" respectively generally achieves the desired results.

My Voyage updated itself to 5.7.2.1 yesterday, and now the screensaver hack is no longer working. It's still installed, and the menu options are still available in KUAL, but whenever the device goes to sleep I get one of the standard screensavers instead.

I have tried rebooting the device and clearing the cover cache.

Is there something else that I should be doing? My next step is probably an uninstall/reinstall of the screensavers hack.

No it isn't, the firmware upgrade deleted it.

After a firmware upgrade, you must reinstall ALL hacks that shipped in an update_*.bin

The KUAL extension is installed alongside the hack, but it isn't the hack.
All it is is the "remote control" that ships with the hack.
