Interesting reviews here. I have both the Glo HD and the H20. I do most of my reading at nighttime in bed, with the room lights off. I use night mode in Koreader, and between the two devices, the H20 looks vastly better. The blacks are blacker, and the font looks better.

In the day time with night mode off, I would say the Glo HD probably looks a bit better. I do prefer the H20 whenever possible because the reading experience feels closer to a real book, probably due to the screen size.

Yesterday I had the chance to test a Kindle Paperwhite. That one was faster. Is this normal or is it something wrong with my ereader?
Ignoring the web browser comments (they are slow on all eink devices), the page turns, settings etc are slightly slower compared to the Paperwhite, but there shouldn't be that much of a difference. So if there is, there might well be something up with it. You could try using kepubs instead of epubs as that seems to make page turns a little zippier?

My Glo HD is not slow at all. I have heard others say that and it boggles my mind. My pages turn instantly after touching them. They are so fast I have a habit of turning more than one page if I am not careful. My reader is patched but I don't use Calibre plugins at all. I use Dropbox via the web browser.

Mine isn't slow at all, either. I never turn on wifi, and use Calibre plugins, as well as Calibre to add/delete books. Never slow.

I leave WIFI on. It turns itself off after awhile. I only have less than 20 books. Maybe 5 custom fonts but I use default Amasis.
