I agree. I do a lot of binge watching. The original content is worth it and the recent exclusive, Black Mirror, will keep me as a subscriber. I'm priced in at the low streaming cost of $7.99, but I don't have a problem paying the $10 as it is well worth it for me.

Thanks, I saw that while researching the rates. At this point, I'm questioning whether I need Netflix at all. I have the $8 rate locked in until May 2016, but I'm now leaning toward cancelling it next month. I'd be quite happy with just Prime Video.

My daughters (9 and 12) watch Netflix daily. So it is worth it. We used to get Hulu Plus but I cancelled it. We have Prime but I don't know how much video gets watched on it. (I have plans to watch stuff.....)

We also have On Demand through our cable company (Just got it a few months ago), which totally eliminates the need for Hulu Plus. (I pay a ton of money to Comcast every month for internet/phone/digital cable, additional digital boxes, & some kind of football channel). In addition we subscribe to WWE Network (totally worth it to us).

I don't have any more ebook subs, but I do have the 2 per month Audible sub (just subbed this month) which I may keep for 3 months then put on hold for 3 months....not sure how long they will let me keep to that pattern.

And I just upped my GoPhone plan to include data for my Fire Phone....I'll try it for a few months. Now I am all paranoid about using too much data.

Yeah, the on-demand through our recently-upgraded DirectTV equipment is pretty impressive. I'm not sure DTV is really worth what I'm paying, but every time we seriously discuss getting rid of it, we change our minds, so I guess it must me.
We have access to a friend's Hulu Plus account...he leaves one of our devices connected so we can watch some of his favorites when he vists...but we almost never use it ourselves. The few times I wanted a show I thought should be on Hulu, it hasn't been there. Like the season premier of CSI: Cyber, which was stupidly delayed because of a stupid football game, so my DVR missed it*, I figured it be on Hulu the next day, but nope.

No we are in west central. My boys are 15 and 18...the football channels are for the 18 yo (and my husband, I'm sure).

We had a DVR cable box once, but I got rid of it. We never used it.

We put in an over the air anntana and use the mac with eye tv to make a DVR so shows on basic channels are recorded. This is all in HD, mind you, for free. We can then ffw thru ads. Combined with netflix and prime, our whole household is pretty happy for $20 a month. Plus i get 2 day shipping. I save a ton with amazon for my dog's vet supplies and all my computer parts to boot!
