Wow, I haven't come back to this site in a while but after what just happened I just had to.

Anyway, my Nook ST finally died (had it since it came out) so I went to the nearest B&M a few blocks away to get a glow light. They were out. The manager there said that never happened and I said no problem I'll just buy it online. The only reason I went in was cause I could near walk to the store.

After I walked out, the manager came out of the store and called me back! She told me, in a tone that said she shouldn't really be talking about this, to wait til tomorrow before going online. She wasn't sure herself but B&N was making an announcement then and she thinks its going to be for a new Nook.

Now like I said, I haven't been to this site for a while and while I see y'all been talking about it for a while, I had no idea. So, fingers crossed, tomorrow 10/21 we might hear something!

Very interesting and if it does happen that B & N makes a new Nook announcement tomorrow you will have scooped the tech press that always trying so hard to be the first to announce new product dates.

Hope you're right and I hope B&N put some thought into this one, they need a come back.

If you mean the Glowlight Plus, it's a work in progress. One way involves opening the device. You can see the state of it all here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/nook...-plus-t3230323

Kingo Root may work, but a number of people have voiced serious security concerns about it, while still others say it's okay. Proceed with caution!
