Glo with 3.16.0, several patches.

I'm happy with 3.16, it works just fine with the patches. I'll only upgrade if more of the patches are incorporated and the ghosting is properly fixed.

I go back from 3.15.0 to 3.13.1 because of the ghosting problem .

If I remember correctly (correct me if I'm wrong) the slowness on 3.15.0 was only noticeable with ePubs. Since I convert all my books via the Calibre Kobo Utilities plug-in to kePub when sending them to my Kobo AuraHD, I don't have a problem with slowness. The main reason I haven't updated the firmware yet is because I like the way I've got the patches configured and don't really want to go through that process again.

I'm using the latest available version of the firmware, so it's 3.17.3 on the Glo HD and 3.4.1 (if memorie serves) on the Mini. I voted with the Glo HD in mind.

Until recently, I sideloaded the latest F/W version after waiting a few days for comments to avoid dudes, but I downloaded to 3.15 (from 3.17.3) since it is the last version to make French dictionaries accessible, and I like having the statistics. I can't guess what a new F/W could offer that would tempt me to give up those dictionaries, but one never knows.

Seems the latest is the most popular for folks here.
Personally I have to have the latest version on all software available for all my devices. I always feel like I'm missing something if I know there is a newer version of the code out there. lol

I was downgrade to 3.13.1. I don''t care so much about the new features of newest firmwares athens the time... I'm still have my chess game... Everything working great on my Aura. When somewhere sometime add the Greek interface language then I will try sometime else than 3.13.1... I have purchase the Aura h2O and hopelly I receive that in next week. Then I'll start to experiment with my Aura and the newest firmwares.

3.15.0 on my H20.

Edited to say I updated to 3.18.0. Wow, so much snappier and faster. I love it so far.

I've got 3.17.3 on my Glo. I didn't pick it, that's just what showed up on there one day. I seem to have had a few lock-ups since that upgrade. Is there an issue with this release?
