Sorry if I accidentally implied calibre was stagnating.
I meant, of course, more or less what Kovid said. calibre is stable enough that changes will tend towards being major, time-consuming rewrites rather than quick fixes and small modifications. At least until the big changes break everything in small ways, ushering in the next era of small modifications to an existing codebase. |

Version 2.39 fixes the aforementioned problem. All changes made to (multiple) pictures are immediately visible in the "Browse images" window, or, when that window is already open, become visible after using the "Refresh" button.
