@nahte: I am available if you need help. This time not just as a reverse engineer of your code (which is done good quality by the way), but as contributer. Let me know if you want to go in the path I and knc1 are saying and MobileRead promotes.

Mind you, I'll be a tad busy over the coming weeks but I'd be still interested to see where this thing goes.

Good move. Thanks for accepting my suggestion. Very nice job indeed. Which flavor of Linux are you in? Git is in most their repositories. When installed, committing with git command is very easy. Last edited by thatworkshop; 08-31-2015 at 08:34 PM. |

Note: git comes with a rough gui -- `git gui` to use -- although there are several other options here: https://git-scm.com/downloads/guis ... GitEye actually looks rather decent, I must say. For a GUI, anyway. I must confess I still prefer using the CLI. Last edited by eschwartz; 08-31-2015 at 10:29 AM.

Don't version-track generated resources just for the convenience of people without a compiler. It pointlessly grows the size of a repository and forever after you will have random binaries floating around in your history. Over time that builds up and the repo becomes unbearable to clone. Use the Releases feature to offer downloads linked to a release tag. Last edited by eschwartz; 08-31-2015 at 05:29 PM. |
