onyx-international firmware, you mean. Ereader-store copy the firmware update of onyx-international to their web, but not change any line of code.

I was under the impression that Booxtor made his own firmware from the onyx-international stuff

From what I can see, the last Booxtor update was last January. All the newer updates that have been posted on the ereader-store.de website are straight from Onyx International. Come to think of it, I haven't seen Booxtor himself on these forums for a long, long time.
