Just a quick update, THe guy emailed me and He has a kindle he just assumed that was what was on display at Borders.

I just tried to go to these links and it seems that Amazon.com is down. Is anyone else finding this?

amazon.com is not down for me...the site is working fine, as is the discussions site. Maybe this guy deleted his posts....I would imagine he took quite a beating for that post.....

No, Harry ... he was quoting me, and the statement was already qualified by "As far as I know." My "know" radius does not include the UK.

Yes, I appreciate that - just trying to increase your knowledge. A dozen of the biggest Borders stores in the UK are selling the "Bookreader" version of the iLiad (the cheaper model without the WiFi).
