Thank You for your answer.

But can this unfortunate (blank or not) header be diminished to a very low space ?
I mean with the help of any patch.

Sorry no, I don't know of any way to change it in normal reading mode.

Edit: Just to be clear: in full-screen mode KePubs have extra top/bottom margins that can be removed with a patch, but that doesn't work in normal reading mode.

So when does it work?

I have just noticed that in full screen mode in (converted from epub) kepub about half of the last letters in every line are lost in the right margin!!!

What is wrong?? it happens irrespective of the margin setting. Is there any bug with the latest firmware 3.18?

In full-screen mode only. Not in normal reading mode.

This sounds like problem number 1 with KePubs in full-screen mode. See this post. You can fix it either by modifying the book's stylesheet automatically with Calibre, or by patching.

That full screen mode is buggy; it's not supported in any way, shape or form.

Apart from the screen refresh problem that started with firmware 3.18.0, full-screen mode works perfectly for ePubs, and the few problems that exist with KePubs can be fixed by patching or modifications of the ebook's stylesheet with Calibre.

'......For sideloaded kepubs this problem can be fixed without patching by adding body { margin: 0 0 0 0 !important; padding: 0 0 0 0 !important; } to the book's stylesheet (which can be done automatically when sending the book from Calibre by using the "Modify CSS" feature of the KoboTouch/KoboTouchExtended driver, or for selected books by using the "Append extra CSS" option of the Modify Epub plugin.)..."

Could You explain how to do it in Calibre
I have installed KoboTouchExtended driver but ho w to make it modify CSS?

There is an example in this post. I think that has everything you need, but note that I don't read sideloaded KePubs myself, so I'm not completely familiar with using the KoboTouchExtended driver.
