There's also ways to make the Kindle work in Canada. They can be a pain in the ass, but I've already downloaded a bunch of content (both free and some new stuff) from Amazon.

Now if only there was a way to use folders... I tried putting one in to see what happens, but it sees the file in the folder, but not the folder itself... oh well.

Does Canada have some messed up publisher licensing system, is that the reason why? There sure is some insanity in the publishing industry regarding dealing with licensing book rights out..

I bought Kindle International just to see if I can buy books online.
Yes, good news, 3G works; bad news only book store and wikipedia works, all other website was disabled, not sure it's Amazon or Rogers.

I got DX too refer to my old thread https://www.mobileread.com/forums/showthread.php?t=52577

Now the question is which one to keep, DX is nice reading PDFs but too big to carry arround.

Go to Amazon.ca, they have info on their website on how to have the Kindle shipped to Canada. Wish I could afford one ...sigh! They're mucho expensive ........
