Once upon a time, I purchase a fairly large collection of Kindles of various models, all "broken, for parts".
Not knowing when I would get around to using them, I put them all on a collection of wall chargers (18 chargers). Next time I had some free time (a few weeks) - I started to check them out, just to list what was wrong with them - - - Ha! Nearly all of them where working! Duh... |

haha I was going to send it to you for free for trying everything - better than putting it in the trash....
It restarted and now it is mounting on a mac system and on a PC system but the initial problem remains ; it goes on and off by itself and then freezes.... Any suggestions to treat that condition ? Thanks again ! |

I gave up and just ordered a new paperwhite. I hope it will last more than a year and a half.
