I've downloaded both the V3 and V4 and examined the compressed files . This gives me some concern as they are both quite old .img files, the V3 one dated 5 December 2014.

Checking further the link given is for the Pro not the ProPlus (Pro +) and the page for the Pro + Firmware ( https://www.energysistem.com/en/supp...A=ajdgcnfedmmh ) still shows V 1 as the only one suitable for download.

My Pro + is offering an OTA upgrade to V3 but it might not be the same V3 mentioned above for the Pro.

Beware.

You don't have to unroot to update, but you will need to reroot after the update. Root Master from T6x_Ereader_toolsKit.zip still works fine.
