I think his point was you brought an unrelated point to this discussion. The OP asked how to remove the back cover to get to the battery. A discussion as to the merits of removable batteries does not aid him at all.

hi, fair enough, although it would have aided him greatly if the battery had been user changeable in the first place, thanks for your response.

If you want to discuss the merits or otherwise of replaceable batteries, the best way is to create a new thread.
