I believe the best display is one that will auto adjust to one's eyesight so that the person doesn't have to use reading glasses to read a book; should account for astigmatism also.

You're talking about a retinal scanning display, which uses laser or led to draw an image directly onto the retina. The image appears to float in front of you, like the Terminator vision. It bypasses any damage to your cornea or lens. I want!

I quite like the technology, the prototype was just like a pair of glasses, but the whole huge heaphone thing, I don't like that. I prefer to source my own audio, I don't like wearing fully enclosed headphones for long periods of time.

May be, they might produce a variant without in time,we can only hope...
