Some reader apps e.g. mantano have quasi native folder support.
E.g that app on my kindle fire has an explore option which gives me a file browser within the app. So if I were to sideload my own sub folder structure I could browse and read in that. The app will still add any opened book to its own list but it does not make an additional file copy. It runs on any android device |
