From this writer's perspective, the presence of large publishers in Australia has proved largely irrelevant. We have all read about the various famous authors whose works were rejected by a large number of publishers before finally finding one willing to take the risk. That doesn't happen here. When it comes to SF/F, at least, the traditional publishing choices here in Australia are already very limited.

Yes. I can't find a publisher that will publish my book.

And it is clearly one of the best works of literature every produced, in Australia or any other country.
