Yes, but having to scroll through thousands of books to see what all has updates makes it something not easily accomplished. I wish they hadn't taken away the sort option to show only books with updates.

I've turned auto update off at Amazon. I'll see if I ever see that there are updates.

It's quite simple: if you've turned off Auto-updates and any of your books get updated, you WILL see that there are updated books (if you look). That's how it works.
