Well, they literally belong to 'optimism' (= rakuten).

I just installed this new firmware on my H2O (I also patched it). It looks to me as if the overall look of the Aa menu changed slightly. Also, my Kobo is usually set up so that it shows the pages left for the current chapter in the footer: but when I tried opening a book for the first time after the update, I touched the footer accidentally with my finger and it changed to percentage left inside the current chapter. I had to go and change it back in the Settings menu as I haven't been able to replicate it. Is it a new feature, a bug I accidentally triggered, or a result of the patch?

As I mentioned above, I was surprised at this release. But, the reason for the release is that the Aura H20 has been released in Japan this week. This also explains the limited nature of the release. I do not expect this firmware to be released anywhere else.

Not new--on my Aura HD running 3.11 firmware--I can change the footer display by pressing and holding on the footer--it scrolls through the available footer options. It can be tricky--sometimes calling up the menu instead of changing the footer display.

It looks like you need to long press on the page/time/percent information. For a kepub, if the long press is on the chapter title, nothing happens or I get the menu displayed.

Well I think you can blame Apple... We are so used in any kind of system (Windows, Android, iOS...) to "cool" smooth transition effects... which are just slower than abrupt ones by sheer definition...

I think the range of font sizes available on the font size slider now varies depending on model:

Code:
Touch/Mini:  12px - 90px   (35 sizes)
Glo/Aura:    12px - 122px  (43 sizes)
AuraHD/H2O:  12px - 150px  (50 sizes)
Alyssum:     14px - 150px  (48 sizes)
