HDX Fire OS 4.5.3 Update

Kf HDX 8.9 book purchased yesterday . Full book not sample , tested with Booker and Cecilia. Both fonts hyphenated not on same words though. Not happening in other books bought today.

Lastmulligan sample is hyphenated also. On this same HDX 8.9. My books are via amazon.co.uk. Not .com.

Ps I hate hyphenation. With other apps, devices I at least have the option to turn it off. Not so with kf. I don't think that choice of font affects this. Sorry, I should have posted to the other thread. so hopefully a mod will move my last post

I'd prefer not to have auto-hyphenation, too–especially when the software makes bad choices, such as hyphenating after two letters, proper names, and already-hyphenated compound words.

Not sure of everything the update includes but Amazon made some improvements on the Cloud Collections. Now like with the PW2, you can add and remove from collections within the same process. Prior to this, you could not see which collections the book already belong to. This was very much needed. The speed of collection changes are also quicker than they were before.

yay, finally. That has bugged the heck out of me on my F6. Even the android app had those checkmarks. Now I can long press on a book and see which collections it is in and uncheck and check if needed. Really useful when one has a lot of collections and books in many different ones.
I used to have to go in the collection and then scroll and scroll to find a book to take it out and then I had to guess what collections it was in in the first place.

I also have Firefly on my Fire6 now, this is neat. Never thought I'd get that one.

Oh finally! Now I have to un-learn my workaround.

LOL, my workaround was to use my PW, it was just too tedious on my Fire. Now the only thing missing is the ability to see books that are not in any collection, or changing the sort order of collection, and viewing in list view rather than grid view.
