Personally, I use a throwaway account at GMX I created for just this purpose.
Thanks. I consider my gmail account my throwaway. I use that account for anything I want to ignore in the future.

@Sydney's Mom - interesting, I recently lost GMX in the 404 bucket, I also lost its parent -- United Internet AG -- and zabkat.com. All three sites are located east of Cologne in Germany - United is a major German ISP. At the same time I lost a couple of sites around Wayne NJ.

After a few days they all came back. I blamed my ISP for having a flaky DNS setup. But, given our locations - Chicago USA and Sydney Australia - I doubt we use the same ISP/DNS... weird.

This is one of Wayne NJ sites I lost ==>> The Phrontistery: Obscure Words...

Calibre- Preferences - Tweaks--type email into the search bar.

Should be set to a default of 301 seconds, been a while since I have done any thing with email.

Spoiler:
Code:
ID: public_smtp_relay_delay

The number of seconds to wait before sending emails when using a
public email server like gmail or hotmail. Default is: 5 minutes
Setting it to lower may cause the server's SPAM controls to kick in,
making email sending fail. Changes will take effect only after a restart of
calibre.
