No, Calibre is crashing every time. For giggles I loaded another program that I think (canyou tell I am getting desperate) converts to LRF and it crashed too. I can only speculate as to the reason and would be willing to bet it has to do with the 64 bit...
Can anyone recall the exact reason I wanted the 64 bit version of Vista? No? Me either! But I am sure it seemed like a good idea at the time. This problem, along with the fact I have to use a "work around" just to have the Sony Library on my laptop, the Cybook is really starting to look good again. Can anyone tell me if they have had problems reading html on the Cybook? AND PLEASE let me know if you had any problems using it on a 64 bit Visata machine. Many thanks! Coz |

Might be an idea to install "standard" 32-bit Vista or XP - they will happily "dual boot". I think personally that 64-bit Vista is not ready for "prime time" home use. Great for heavy duty "number crunching", but there are so many apps that have issues with it.
