same thing happened to me with firmware 3.12.0 update recently.

managed to restore the glo but trying to work out how to get it to recognise a microSD card.

The thing is, for me this happened days after my update to 3.12

In any case, the blasted thing is dead now anyway (screen seems broken) so I have ordered an Aura as replacement.
