Sounds great, may I come along?

Husband and I have never been to Bretagne, but you can be sure I'll look into it now. When you say "remote," is it like Santiago de Compostela remote? That's a part of Spain we have never been able to work into an itinerary. We are a couple of Southern Baptists, but we hope to eventually see all of the medieval pilgrimage sites. I get a coin or medal from each one, just like in the olden days, as a souvenir. So some day, I plan on taking the easiest transport to Santiago de Compostela and studying it. (Not going on my knees the traditional way, seeing as how we are just tourists!)

We enjoy Barcelona, especially the food. However, our absolutely favorite town in Spain is Cordoba. Gotta love that hot southern sun and sleepy "old town" feel of the place.

Have fun and enjoy your vacation!

Am I alone in having an almost irresistable urge to include "smilies" in whatever I write these days - even on paper? They are just such amazingly useful things; how did we manage without them in the "old days"?

sounds brilliant... i'll cross my fingers you get some sun (you're right, bretagne is not know for it's fine weather, but when you *do* get some it's amazing).
