Not the same as owning it. I am a collector of Christmas Music. Every year I buy at least one Christmas CD.

I really like Oh Holy Night also, and also that Christmas Song by Britney Spears. I'm not sure of the title, but it goes like, Santa Can You hear me, I have been so good this year" (I tried searching google but it has different titles, I'm not sure which one)

And I really love the rendition made by Michael Buble and Idina Menzel of "Baby It's Cold Outside" (the youtube video is lovely too)

I really like the beat of the song, I always liked songs from Britney Spears and whenever it's the Christmas I get to be in a great mood whenever I hear it.

It's a great song and no I'm not really a fan of hers but when it comes to Christmas songs If I like it I will listen to it.

You can find people who you wouldn't normally listen to sing Christmas and it sounds really good. A huge example would be this Christmas album by Rodney Carrington. He normally sings crude and supposedly funny Country songs that I find disgusting but I bought this last year and it's Wonderful. Not one funny or crude lyrics it's all classic sounds. Blew me away.

I am such a slacker. I only have about 45 Christmas CDs and 30 or so LPs.

I started collecting Christmas music back in my teens. My mother was always the Grinch when it came to Christmas. No tree, no music, no decorations because to her she measured Christmas by the amount of gifts you get and we was always broke. She just sat in her chair making all of us miserable. So it was up to me to every year from my teen years to be the one to defy mom and bring Christmas to our home. I started with those $5 compilations CDs and thrift store finds for decorations. You remember those? I got my own income I slowly bought all the ones I could find on sale and then I got married and started buying them in droves and finding them at dollar stores or garage sales.

Mom is still mom but I married someone who loves Christmas just as much as I do and understands why it's so important to me. He loves Christmas music just as much too.

Gifts are not really important to us we rather give to others and just enjoy the ambiance of the season. Hubby calls my Christmas decorating theme, Clutter Christmas.

This year we decorated to the 4 Christmas Albums by Glee on Prime Music. They are on my to buy list.

This takes me back at least 50 years. Trips to grandma's house. Snow drifting high enough to close the roads, despite the snow fences. Shopping in the decorated stores. The animated scenes in the store windows. Visiting friends and relatives. And, of course, Christmas Day. It's the version that seems most correct to the one I recall.

I like the Peter, Paul and Mary version of "The Marvelous Toy." I haven't heard this version before. Nice.
