I know.

The "Nook Color Tools" utility I was referring to is for the NST and it gets installed on a rooted NST as an integral part of the NST (original) Rooting process (see http://www.the-ebook-reader.com/nook-touch-root.html). From what I understand, it was adapted from the utility originally developed for the Nook Color, hence its odd name.

I have used Nookmanager, as described in xda forums.
Tell me application, which installs .apk files (and also deinstall).
I don't wanna everytime to use cwm-recovery for this purpose...

If the app you'd like to install is from the Google Playstore, see http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=2086582.

If it is not, there is no application/tool I am aware of that will install any arbitrary .apk file, you'd simply have to manually side-load the .apk file onto the NST.
