So If I were to replace the internal SD card, I have to clone the recovery partition -hoping that isn't the corrupt part, and create a root and user partition?
What is the format? EXT3? |

Yes, the recoveryfs is ext3. So is the rootfs.
Unfortunately, it isn't as simple as creating the partitions and copying the recoveryfs files. Ther uBoot and uImage (kernel) have to be installed to the correct positions on the card. It's probably easier to obtain a complete image of the card and write that to the new card. I've sent you a PM with the link. |

I had firmware 3.11.0.
I received an image of a working SD card. I will use that. I also installed android on another SD card, the kobo is significantly faster. |
