No tax and the shipping is not free. Chapters charges in CAD so with the shipping and the exchange rate, it's just a few dollars less then ordering from Kobo.

No tax. Okay. So what's the shipping, and the total cost (including shipping) in CDN $?

Canadians get free shipping but have to pay around 10-15% tax on the final cost. I'm wondering if you pay more or less than Canucks.

Glad to hear USA customers have had good luck with chapters. I went through kobo last time, worst customer support ever. Took twitter to get a response. I am 90% convinced to just splurge on the h2o. Enjoy your new reader

That's the same as it was for my order. My guess is shipping to the US will be the same amount.

Use PayPal if you do not have a credit card that charges an international fee. That could raise the price beyond $179 (US).
