Does Check library show anything interesting?
After Restore database, you still cannot see your books in calibre but they are there in the folder? You have confirmed you are looking at the right folder and that there is no virtual library active? (At the bottom of the screen, you should see a grand total of books in calibre.) One or the other should and must work. Did Restore spit out any errors? |

![]() DO NOT Mess with the old Library Start a NEW Library. Library(icon):Create Library: Empty...(Optional if you have custom columns you want to keep:Copy Structure) Now: Add books from directories,<The 1 book PER one>: (the old Library Top folder (the one with Author name folders) This will take TIME and disk space (you will need free space at or more than the existing). As an alternate: Move the existing Library to Portable Media to free up space. Flash drives are slow, so I don't recommend creating the New Library TO a Flash drive. |

I don't know why that happened. I tried all the way. I am using now my new library that i've built by zero manually. It has past 3-4 days. I've had no problem yet.

You might consider using Free File Synch, its easy to setup, easy to use and it has a good Help facility (as an 'old fashioned' chm, not a PDF or a website). If you have the need it can maintain multiple versions of files. Its free and it runs on the three operating systems calibre supports - Windows, OS/X and Linux. Be careful with the Windows install, last time I looked it contained Unwanted Extra's - Speed Up My PC - as if... ![]() BR |
