I was afraid the "buttons" we're going to be too low; the page back buttons look like a better location for the page forward button. Is there any way to customize the buttons, or can the text be reoriented upside down?

You can adjust the amount of feedback and the amount of pressure required to activate them. You can turn them completely off too, I think. I don't think you can swap out the FWD and BACK buttons though. I agree that the BACK button is the right height, but the FWD button is too low and my thumb wants to rest right on it.

I'm happy.
It's not the Holy Grail of ereaders, but I doubt I'll ever see that. And if I do, someone else will think it needs just a little tweek. ![]() I am very impressed with the font clarity and the contrast. I like the page turn buttons and the light sensor, though they will take getting used to. Overall, I still regard it as a thumbs up device. I will keep studying on it to make sure I'm definitely going to keep it before I pay to get rid of the Special Offers (aka useless ads). It's a 3g as I do travel out of the country now and then so I want to make sure. Major bucks compared to my PW2 which was WiFi. |

My screen is not perfect, but the text rendering is a significant improvement over the PW2 in my opinion. I don't regret my purchase.

Me. According to most posters-haters here, I have to be a blind moron for liking it.
![]() Oh well. Back to reading. Books. On my new Voyage. ![]() |

I am very happy with mine. I also have a good screen. Looks like I am blind, too.

I can't see any color issues with my Voyage screen, and I returned 3 PW1s for green and pink blotches so I was looking for problems when I turned it on. No obvious pinholes on my Voyage screen either. Maybe if I tried to take a picture of it there would be noticeable color variations in the picture, but when I'm looking at the reader itself I can't see any.
I love the size and weight; it's like my Sony T3 but with a lighted screen. |

Hmm... I'm in the UK so won't get mine for a while, as I'm also travelling while it is due to be shipped. have to say these colour patches reports are worrying me a bit.
I had three PW1s before finding a good one which was blueish but finally not patchy, and three PW2s. One prob with the PW2s was not screen related, but the other prob was. Husband thought I was mad changing the second of the PW2s until he saw the third I received which had a really even screen and then he could see why I stuck out for a 'good' one. Really hope this isn't an issue this time round. I had confidence this time because my last PW2 was so good that it seemed they'd sorted out the patchy screen thing. Well, we'll see. i'm not going to go looking for issues, but I do expect it to be uniform in standard lighting environments. Hope those of you with good units enjoy them and those replacing find what they are looking for soon. a |

That's kind of what I got from reading those posts, too. Hmpf. Maybe I should have higher standards, especially given what I paid, but I'm a simple girl. I'm happy with what I got. And after showing it to my mom, I think there may be a chance of getting her to switch, too! She loved the page turn buttons!

Not that it is a major issue as the only time I see the screensaver is if I let it power itself down without me having closed the case. Last edited by Crowl; 10-23-2014 at 07:44 AM. |

That's how I'm using it! I turned vibration to low, and have the pressure adjusted to where it requires a push, and resting your thumb on it doesn't trigger it. |

I'm happy with it, more so this evening when my cover arrives. I think it is the best ereader that I've ever owned despite some reservations with the page turn sensors and the light sensor.

I'm quite happy with mine!
I'm curious, when someone starts a thread with a title of "Anyone else happy with their voyage?" and it's obviously an alternative to the main Voyage thread where many people are unhappy and arguing and complaining.... why would some people come to THIS thread to complain about their Voyage? |
