Nook Glow 212 PPI
I agree that 216 PPI on a 7" screen "isn't too bad", but the 7" Nook HD from 2 years ago has 242 PPI

For a device that you will be holding fairly close to your face... yeah, not good. People manage on laptops just fine with low ppi but those are usually lap length, and sometimes further, away.

Jeez, the Nook HD+ (9") was 1920×1280 @ 257 PPI.

And their competition is the Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 which is 2560 × 1600 px @ 339 PPI.

There is no excuse for that. Whoever is in charge of that division is sabotaging that whole aspect of the company.

I'm waiting for the Win10 versions but there's some tempting WinTabs in the $100-200 range. Which isn't going to help Nook.

I'm waiting for the Win10 versions but there's some tempting WinTabs in the $100-200 range. Which isn't going to help Nook.

180 for a Win8/10 tablet would be great for me. I use Android with my phone and Nexus7, but I happen to be one of the people who actually "likes" Win8, so my next tablet will probably be a Wintablet.
