The point is, Waba, that lithium batteries degrade with time, and typically have a lifespan of around 3-5 years. Your PRS-950 is around what? 4 years old? so unfortunately, regardless of whether you've used it or not, the battery will be near the end of its life. Even more unfortunately, there's no known replacement battery for the 950

.

@HarryT: I wanted to make sure 950 was good before I sent it, so I did about 1200 page turns and battery bar did not go down so I think battery was like new... Some devices batteries last 10 years+, I'm not really sure why. Although keeping them from freezing seems to be important.
